Why a Luggage Tracking Device?
Our luggage often contains items of immense value to us, ranging from clothes and jewelry to gadgets earned through hard work. These belongings are more than just financially valuable – they hold deep emotional significance. Thus, losing luggage can be a deeply distressing experience, especially during holidays when lost suitcases can ruin the entire trip. However, a suitcase with tracker with live tracking can significantly improve the situation. It allows us to see the exact location of our luggage in real time, greatly increasing the chances of its recovery.
Beyond the risk of misplacement at airports or during transit, theft is a significant concern for luggage security. Theft can happen anywhere, and retrieving stolen items often proves more challenging than recovering lost luggage. Placing suitcase trackers carefully inside your bags can efficiently aid in recovery. You can share your luggage’s live location with the police, assisting in its retrieval. Additionally, these trackers alert you if your bag moves outside a pre-set safe area, providing an additional layer of security.
How can a tracking device protect your Luggages?
The PAJ GPS EASY Finder 4G GPS Tracker offers an impressive 14-day standby mode battery backup and boasts coverage in over 100 countries. It weighs approximately 100 grams and has dimensions of 7.8 cm x 3.9 cm x 2.9 cm. After activating the device and discreetly placing it in a secret compartment of your suitcase, you can use the online application to configure it. The Finder Portal Application is available for download from the Apple Store and Google Play.
Once everything is set up, you can log in to the portal to view the live location of your suitcase. It also enables real-time location tracking. Additionally, you can set up a Geo-fencing alert. For instance, while on a holiday, you might mark your hotel in the PAJ Finder portal as the Geo-fence area, so you will receive an alert if your luggage leaves the hotel.

During the flight, where no mobile network is available, the GPS tracker cannot be located. Tracking will resume automatically as soon as the mobile network is available again. This means you can track your luggage at any time during your stay at the airport or during your vacation.
Yes, GPS trackers can be taken onto an airplane in your suitcase.
This was also confirmed to us in writing by the airline Eurowings:
We allow a GPS tracker that is switched on and packed in a suitcase. In principle, there are no objections to taking this item with you in your checked baggage.
From a legal point of view, it would only be problematic if you took the GPS tracker with you in your hand luggage and refused to switch it off when asked to do so.
However, if you put the tracker in your suitcase and it becomes apparent during the loading process that it is emitting interfering signals, in the worst case scenario the suitcase would have to be stored at the airport. Passengers will then be contacted to discuss how to proceed. However, it is not illegal to carry a GPS tracker that is switched on.
You can locate your suitcase from anywhere. The range is unlimited.
